The environmental science minor provides you with training in environmental sciences that can be tailored to your needs and professional goals. You can study a variety of courses that give you a wide understanding of the natural and social systems and how they interact. This minor pairs well with these disciplines: education, psychology, biology, biochemistry, and similar disciplines. This minor is flexible and will provide you with valuable knowledge and experience in environmental studies.

One of the courses I teach is called Field Biology, a summer course that includes a week long wilderness expedition. It is amazing to see the transformation in students when the distractions of everyday life are gone and all that is left is water, trees, and God.
