Lisa is a graduate of Bethel College with a BA in Biblical Studies and a Minor in Early Childhood Education.

Over the past 30 years, Lisa has had a variety of positions with young children. She taught at First Covenant Child Development Center in Minneapolis, Kinderberry Hill, home childcare, a PCA, and was a substitute teacher at Bethel Child Development Center. She has been a mentor and supervisor to student workers and university students that are in the early childhood program at UNW. What Lisa loves the most about the CDC is all of the intergenerational activities with the Grandfriends and the great staff she gets to work with.

Favorite Bible verse: “Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4: 4-7

Lisa joined the CDC team in June 2006.
