Assistant Professor Krystal Seeling came on as Clinical Adjunct Faculty in 2017. She earned her Associate degree in nursing from St. Catherine’s University and her BSN from Bethel University. She recently received her MSN in nursing education from Indiana Wesleyan University. She accepted the FT position of Assistant Professor just last month. Her specific areas of interest in nursing education are interprofessional education and experiential learning through simulation.
Professor Seeling brings a wealth of experience to her role at the SON. She has worked as a staff and charge nurse on an orthopedic surgery and med/surg unit and then transitioned into pediatrics where she has worked on a cardiac med/surg unit for the past 5 years.
She has also held the role of preceptor; mentor; Trained Skin Care Champion and Clinical Instructor for the U of M Masters of Nursing program. Professor Seeling teaches clinical for the Foundations and Advanced courses. She was first involved with the Serving Through Interprofessional Collaboration course as a clinical adjunct, then co-faculty and this year is the course coordinator. She and her family live in Stacy.
