Assistant Professor Christine Brockway began her career at the School of Nursing as a Clinical Adjunct Faculty member in 2015. She became full-time in 2017.

Professor Brockway earned her BSN from the U of MN and her MSN at St. Catherine’s University. She is currently working toward her PhD.

She came to the SON with experience of being an Assistant Nursing Professor at St. Catherine’s University and worked as an RN and Administrative Nursing Supervisor at Fairview University Hospital. Prior to that time, Professor Brockway also held the roles of EPIC Instructor, Assistant Nurse Manager and Nursing Station Technician.

Professor Brockway has served as the Advanced Adult Care Clinical Coordinator, overseeing all adjuncts teaching the Advanced clinicals. She has helped develop the SON Clinical Faculty Academy, orientation for adjuncts and has partnered with Professor Theisen and Professor Krist in developing a variety of clinical simulations. Professor Brockway lives with her husband, daughter and son in Shakopee.
